RJC Policy

The focus of the philosophy of NAMDAR DIAMONDS COMPANY is the care, the nature of diamonds. It carries out the selection of natural diamonds at the plant, selecting through the 4Cs (Carat, Color, Clarity and Cut), guided day after day by the desire to offer high quality solutions to our customers. NAMDAR DIAMONDS COMPANY intends to apply an "Integrated Management System for Quality and Health and Safety in the Workplace" in order to obtain benefits in all company processes and in relationships with the Customer. The orientation, also due to the commercial nature of the company, is aimed at obtaining greater customer satisfaction and the involvement and responsibility of staff and collaborators on issues related to sustainability which includes aspects of social responsibility including work and the environment but also of quality, in a broad sense, of the quality product. NAMDAR DIAMONDS COMPANY believes that the timely application of an Integrated Management System “Quality and Health and Safety in the workplace” is one of the keys to achieving results of effectiveness and efficiency of all company processes.

The objectives of NAMDAR DIAMONDS COMPANY are to focus on the sustainability of business activities and processes, and their impact on social responsibility issues (work and environment):

Select suppliers based on the quality of the product/service offered and their sustainability;
Customer satisfaction by reducing working times, improving internal organization and communication, encouraging the development of relationships of trust and collaboration with suppliers/collaborators to make the purchasing process more efficient and selecting customers based on price, available resources (personnel and materials), the type of product requested;
Improve administrative and commercial management, adopting system certifications and computerized operating systems;
Zero accidents and occupational diseases;
Minimization of Non-Conformities;
Dissemination of the concept of sustainability within the company as a central corporate element and reference for development;
Involvement of collaborators in the quality management and Health and Safety system, through updating and training.

Business Ethics

The Code of Conduct is directed to employees, partners, customers and suppliers, external collaborators, any other person who may act in the name and on behalf of NAMDAR DIAMONDS COMPANY in general, to all those with whom they come into contact in the course of their business.
We are committed to carrying out and conducting our business in full compliance with ethical standards, ensuring integrity, transparency and compliance with applicable laws.
We will not engage in corruption.
We will not tolerate money laundering and/or the financing of terrorist activities.
We are committed to Know Your Counter part and to compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
We are committed to fully and in detail disclosing the characteristics of the diamonds we sell.
We are committed to taking appropriate measures to ensure the integrity and safety of product shipments.
We are committed to the principles of confidentiality and protection of confidential data.
We will exercise the utmost vigilance over our supply chain, specifically for the supply of diamonds.
We are committed to ensuring product security measures within the company and during shipment, to prevent theft, damage or substitution.

Social Ethics

We believe in and are committed to respecting fundamental human rights and the dignity of the individual, according to the Universal Declaration of Human Rights established by the United Nations.
We do not tolerate the use of child labor.
We are committed to not resorting to any form of forced labor and not to restrict the freedom of movement of employees and subordinate workers.
We are committed to ensuring and improving health and safety standards in our headquarters and in our business.
We will not discriminate on the basis of race, ethnicity, country of origin, religion, disability, sex, sexual orientation, union membership, pregnancy, political affiliation, marital status, physical appearance, age so that all people are given equal opportunities without discrimination based on factors unrelated to their ability to perform the expected job.

Environmental ethics

We are committed to eliminating and reducing the use of toxic substances in the production phases. To minimize the impact on the environment, to dispose of the waste we produce responsibly and in accordance with current legislation.
We are committed to the efficient use of energy and water.
Any violation of the Principles contained therein may constitute a breach of the contractual obligations undertaken, with all legal consequences with regard to the termination of the contract or the assignment conferred.
